The French Chateau, the private visit, the jeans, the T-Shirts and the bloody floody situation back in the country, the falling Fauzias, Gondals and Kairas, nothing seemed to be in place and Providence wasn’t really happy about it.

But don’t forget the Airblue disaster meanwhile.

In the name of ethics, nearly every sane person everywhere opposed this visit. And why did Zardari have to take a walk in France and Britain? What a leadership. Immaculately selfish and devoid of sympathy. The leadership standards are just not so well understood at both ends.

The likes of Kaira, Fauzia Wahhab and Ph.D Babar Awan are on their toes but they too are prepared to defend the step taken by Zardari. Foreign but old whiskies are indeed enlightening.

What was the need? One must think. Zardari leaves at the height of disaster striking the central and North West part of Pakistan. Was it really a disaster? Perhaps, the water could have been set loose, to avert the attention of all and many from Airblue. Rumours are building up that Airblue was hijacked by Blackwater and that the Nuclear research center, Kahuta, the thorn in the West’s throat was the target but ‘averted’.

Averted or say jammed by the Pak Army which stays alert and keep an eye on the crawling insect around Islamabad. The Army was swift enough to have controlled the aircraft well before it made headway for Kahuta, as it had change course; a concern which shouldn’t have been let go without notice. One may wonder and why should I, Uncle Sam wonders why can’t they find any Zardaris, Kairas and Awans and Chaudhrys in Pak Army? Answer – Pak Army go to Universities, the Defence University. While Dastis are mere drop out who aren’t welcome, neither at the airports or the immigration.

While, if Airblue was hijacked and jammed by the Army or say latter wasn’t, the Head Pilot might have gone for the extreme nationalism and embraced martyrdom along with other 151 (152-1), the one who could’nt make it was the one who might have done the act for Sam. But couldn’t pull it through at the right time.

Then Zardari heading off immediately, could be apology visit for not accomplishing the Airblue feat gone sour. And perhaps, Indian RAW, American Blackwater might have received Zardari at the French Chateau. Who knows. The maintenance charges were due and the creditors wanted an answer. It was rush hour. An apology was necessary, Sam was fuming. While the majority of the populace was entangled and made busy. While the whole world lambasted Zardari and his ilk, the inside story was efficiently covered up. Peel it off.

It wasn’t 152 victims in the airplane disaster, it was the whole country. Cable operators are controlled by yet another mafia which has roots in England. Burning of newspaper was planted. Papers are harder than stone. Remember the game Paper, Rock, Scissors?? While internet is publishing the newspaper. Send Jiyaalaaz to Hong Kong and Dubai to tear down the servers. Pull the juice on the servers.

While GEO and ARY are fuming and seething over the closure. Musharraf’s legacy lives on. Musharraf, no need to come back.

Iftikhar Choudhary – Individual still or Institution

Heralding the release of Choudhary Iftikhar; one is prone to think whether the current corruption-riddled society and system would digest him, when its convoluted state couldn’t handle the birth pangs of justice and had to throw up on November 9th? Wary does it sound and it is. But the quandary is to be shared with all and sundry. The maximum risk one could envisage is the Political camps; the army has decided to call it off, after grueling 8 years though sparsely productive financially in remittances and American aid to keep the inflated balloon intact and braving dissent in the recent years, the hegemony at the top are thinking wisely; the army knows the exit route to save face.

What if politicians don’t deliver again this time? Odds are high though; and the political past is nothing to be proud of. Media matured, public even more. Politicians have started to feel the heat. Fluke or fumble and public outpour is not going to spare anyone. 8 years of tremendous patience and paltry values in the foreign representation and stature, public is hurt and wounded. Adding insult to injury with rising and spiralling inflation and unemployment with imposed ‘terrorism’ from which the whole world seems innocuous and unprepared and unheard about but Pakistan is the focal and favourite spot for the ‘terrorists’ to play and practice with not-for-children-below-3-years-of-age toys.

Alas, the public has been given a voice to speak and delinquently they are vehemently using it, irking the Government every now and then. The very voice rung the highest walls of conspiracies that Richard Boucher seems to be going empty handed whilst trying to convince Nawaz Sharif to aid the American cause in Afghanistan.

Does this mean, the story of Afghanistan is nearing an end. Karzai is to meet Shaukat in London and play golf and their wives sip tea? Too early to say.

While Musharraf seems to be going the brave way of seeing things happening not his way, though, but accepting it is commendable equally. With the king’s party counting its lost card and gritting by sitting in opposition, the game is far from over. Unapparent is still the policy the new political facade is to follow. Pakistani Nation is prone to short memory, a 5 year plan and target should be memorized and spoon fed. Current years plans? Economic recovery, educational reforms, Judiciary and what not. The whole field lays bare but inundated by wild fires and mushrooms. Tread cautiously, ravines on either sides don’t allow faltering feet a second chance.

Fall Of Bhutto – Inside Story – Pakistan Finally Cornered II

Although, if noticed the previous Government takes a back seat, the control is transferred and Benazir dies. Nobody from the previous plot has to face discredit, save the President, who himself seemed perturbed.

With the facades of truth and evidence coming in, more of curtains are falling, it shows that the gunman was amongst the crowd and that the vehicle was not moving due to the populace of supporters. The gunman made sure the bullet crossed the head of the leaders as the flaps of the sunroof which were bullet proof and that wouldn’t have done the purpose. The gunman who had only a splice of a time to aim and hit without a miss itself points to many directions. Firstly, given such a training, under which the action is to be taken in intensely populated and secured feature, requires adept and hours in days of flawless and relentless training. This raises a question as to which areas, groups are allowed such frequent access to facilities which train, brainwash, finance the recruits. This is a full fledged network which selected one of the comrades to fore go his life along with the leader’s.

Now the fact that has dawned here, the politicians, whether of magnitude or not, are on the hit list. This is what seems now. Or, according to the word making rounds, Benazir was not attracting the numbers which were expected from her political and personal aura she maintained which ingrained the possibility of failure in the upcoming elections; thus making her quite vulnerable and dispensable for those who employed her and fixed her in the Pakistan politics yet again. This dastardly act might have come from their sides too; wherein the saying, ‘What goes around, comes around’ doesn’t seem to hold. However, some of the names, looking at the fashion of attack can be nominated here –

• Lashkar e Toiba – A militancy arm of Jamaat ud Dawa. Benazir promised handing over Ameer of the Jamaa’t; Hafiz Saeed.
• MQM – the erstwhile opponent had to settle many scores with the lady. Naseerullah Babar, under Benazir, ordered operation against the MQM in Karachi in the 1990’s. Many supporters had to go under the guillotine.
• Jaish e Mohammadi – Although depicts a religious faction but nonetheless not very Islamic; headed by Molana Azhar who had an indian passenger plane hijacked to have his release ensured some time back. The plane was stationed in Afghanistan during the times of the Taliban, which was then eventually released on the eve of the new year to cover up the killing of the passenger on board.

Principally these names strike first. The maintain training facilities in and out of Pakistan; wherein MQM had their workers (read comrades) trained in India to counter the military and have Karachi seperated from Pakistan during the 1990’s.

Although, international media and the representatives are reeling on the incident alongside India, which surely suggests that the West had a certain expectation with the late lady who was working on their protocol but left it incomplete. No perfect replacement is in sight.

The Bhutto legacy ended abruptly. PPP was riding on this. The party’s perturbed, leaderless, has met the same fate as Hitler’s party. Should it have been the Labour Party like England’s, easy replacement would be there; and why would a leader of a ‘democratic’ party be killed when the leadership is rotating around the objectives of a party and not a fascist, in the first place? Serious discourse is needed to review and revive the party politics of Pakistan. Every party is individualistic based and focused then why wain about dictatorship. Isn’t the same being followed in a democratic parties which advocate democracy but themselves run hollow in itself?

Lastly what about ‘contract’ workers of PPP? Like Naheed Khan, Sherry Rehman. Are they going for the greener pastures? They should, when they have the chance to improve their resumes and not change the national stance from the national view. I feel sorry for Naheed Khan, so near yet so far. Naheed Khan is out of job now. So is Sherry Rehman.

The perpetrators knew it that alone a bomb blast won’t suffice; thus the bullet route was taken, with all evidence gone laters. The election campaign is on hold and receded to much an extent. Nawaz Sharif, who blows the trumpet of nationalism and sympathy for the unheard and unheeded masses, too won’t take a risk to come in the open and under the sun when perpetrators are open. Confusion and the premiership is now more difficult than thought. Investigations, reviews, analysis won’t do any good if serious revival at the top is not implemented. The people, before heading to any party assuming it to be saviour, should equip intellectually the pros and cons of democracy. Awareness has to be proactive and comprehensive. And nobody is ready to do that, for now.

Fall Of Bhutto – Inside Story – Pakistan Finally Cornered

One of the greatest fall after Dhaka, including Zia’s assassination, comes the fall of Bhutto family. Fall as in after Benazir, nobody from the blood line replaces her. Even if, in case, there is one, or if one sees Bilawal replacing her, its not soon. He is young and still a new born juvenile in terms of Politics. By the time he is ready to take the reins, the scenario might not even recognise him. And if, against the odds, he is in control, the name of Bhutto family would be perished in the books of history. All has been lost by this family.

Now the world, out of frustration, is condemning and Pakistan, as usual, promising full investigation with presumed results to be out within no time. The result is already out, that suicide attacks in Pakistan leave no trail behind. End of Story. Moreover, sarcastic was the cleaning up of the suspected evidence which lay bare on the streets of Rawalpindi. However, the world is now bracing up, as lobbies wanted, to paint Pakistan, permanently as a rogue state where nobody is safe. But ground realities are quite different. This is evident by handling of the situation, which came as an outpour in protest was meagre. The anticipated outlash from the inside, from the public, was not that warm as it should have been. Its as cold as December. And so shall it remain. The iron hand behind the curtains have drawn up the plans to remove every nail and stone by tooth and nail.

A little perspective on Benazir as to what possibly was the cause that led to this demeanor and ferocious step resulting in her full elimination. Firstly was her pro-West protocol that she brought in; wherein she was ready to hand over Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, secondly countering the terrorists, who currently are infested in the bordering areas of Afghanistan and seem to flourish and prosper and spread after the incident towards more into inside of Pakistan, which irked not few. Thirdly, she wasn’t seen in the higher levels of administration as that nationalist and pro Pakistan, which was quite evident with her father who was the founding member of Bangladesh. Period.

With the recent infrastructure development, adding road networks, pruning the local administration with applied accountability for finances, no matter how frail the element of accountability was but it wasn’t left onto the papers this time. Quite evident. One must land into Pakistan to see it. But, for now nobody is heading to Pakistan which is itself in a deep quandary to tackle the situation which is to multiply on the international level. Things are going to the worse graph level, which is no good sign and Pakistan would have braced for this.

With the protocol that she came in, she was confirmed on the sniper’s target. And she didn’t take heed of this. Neither did she prepare herself to the risks that posed to her life directly, or that she was put under a confidence that she is safe. And none other than inside man or men would have done this. Now, a bit of homework in the ranks of PPP would have to be carried out as to who went defect while just walking behind her. That inside man knew what her schedule was and where she is to surface before the public. Now get the point? All the specific and sensitive details about her movement was known to some one within the ranks. Naheed Khan? No her stature and reach cannot be that far reaching. The Khan with her name shouldn’t be doubted as well. Amin Fahim? Possibly. Nawaz Sharif? Hmm, his brother had some cleaning done in Lahore when he was the Chief Minister. Asif Ali Zardari? A very prospective candidate in this murderous scheme, as Mir Murtaza Bhutto, was touted to be killed under the dictate of Zardari, but still not completely investigated. And what is investigated to the end in Pakistan? To date even the assaulters of Liaquat Ali Khan’s life are still unknown to the public.

This was confirmed and the rumour was rife that next expected Prime Minister was Benazir. This was a concern for all at the higher levels, the third time for Benazir would be quite destroying for the future of Pakistan. And that Pakistan is getting ready to mould the next phase of the New World Order minus America. Many of the promising projects have taken off and ready to pay off; and no eclipse was to be allowed. Pakistan has to cash that. And some of the lobbies are finding this hard to digest. And they had Benazir to put a tight nooze on these. But alas, this couldn’t be materialised. Nor it would be.

A little perspective on how the incident took place. Very conveniently, everything is blamed on the suicide attackers and why shouldn’t it be? The suicide bomber is no more to defend his position. Whether that attacker was in his senses, or was he a drug addict programmed and brain washed for a morsel after the so called ‘assignment’. The very suicide bomber, if presumed to be a drug addict, is unaware of the consequences, apparently.

After the congregation, Benazir headed to her residence in Islamabad or was to take a flight back to Karachi, the road that was taken, according to plans which are sensitive, such plans change at the last minute for the safety of sensitive personalities, which is also evident in Hollywood films, e.g. Miami Vice, the supply point, wherein was changed in the final encounter over the telephone. Thus with this apparutus and designs, someone knew what was to come and deliberately nothing was changed. She was taken to the road of incident. Starting from the driver and the security advisor, the driver presumably could have defected or was already working, insiduously, for the agencies. Taking down the road, plans were there, that Benazir had to surface from the rooftop of the vehicle to respond to the waving crowds out to see their leaders. The perpetrators, were among the crowds not in handfuls but in multiple numbers spread all over the road from the start till end to carry out the mission without a miss. The plan was more perfect than prevention which was scathed to the core. Someone defected with lots of blank cheques.

This is how the fairy tale of politics abruptly ends. This is no nightmare. One of the most acknowledged leaders is no more. No matter how negative her approach was but she has left behind Pakistan in a squirming condition. Although plans would be in place.

But one thing is confirmed the commando has been most of the greatest asset and expensive to the global economy.

Hence Proved Emergency in Pakistan was not futile

A bomb blast rocks a city in the NWFP killing a couple of soldiers and civilians; another incident is marred in the most backward province of Pakistan, Sindh, where a train is derailed and scores are killed; although the ‘free’ but irresponsible media claims the lives lost are only 40 and no more. Although, if logically analysed, maximum of 44 people can occupy the seats only in each compartment and 14-16 got derailed. Now that what would spiral the statistics. Moreover, the occasion of Eid which sees overcrowding of passengers in this mode of travel hence, much would be accentuated at the ground level. What we see is what they want to show.

Hence proved, emergency was a cushion against the unseen and the anticipated. The unseen but terrorising elements, necessarily sponsored through foreign lobbies, kept squirming to reel out their acts in the open to paint a destabilised picture of Pakistan. But those 42 days of so-called captivity proved to be quite serene. But not even a single day, did media rest with its foul shenanigans. It sounded as if media was handed over to the Gitmo administration for 50 years. But 42 days of isolation were divine, like those of Abraham who was put to test in the fire which lit for 40 days.

Hence proved, emergency was healthy but not for GEO which kept the propaganda going for all these days. GEO kept Jinnah alive and it sounded through those excerpts that he said nothing for civilians but for Journalists for the years he lived and endeavoured and that Pakistan is not for anyone save journalists. And what a sham. Financially (read burger and cheap chips) sponsoring children were brought in from local small schools to stage a protest where the protesters could be counted on fingers. The famous Davis road, at the main gates of The Jang office were these protesters gathering just in minions, which didn’t cause a ripple and mosquitoes don’t cause revolutions but are a nuisance. Same was the naive attitude of GEO as if wailing like a child to have its services restored. Almost a month and some more, gagging of the media didn’t cause life in Pakistan to be arrested. Ground realities and life on the road and behind the scenes was normal. Life went on as usual.

Now some more on this ‘bloody’ eid; the same game is being upped again for the elections, making it monotonous a routine. Last time, the turnout was 23%, the same can be expected this time also. Simple civilians have one vote, the crooks, the paid gangsters of the cities have 100,000 votes per crook employed by the party he is working with. So the level field game is much again the same. Renewed promises but never delivered. Alas the Pakistani civilians are too weak and frail to rise even their heads to think as to how their wishes are manipulated.

If the lawyers wanted some change, a mass level intellectual movement should have been mobilised to cause a ruckus in the political baloon. Benazir trips over on the issue of restoration of the judiciary (read – anti P.C.O panel) as she brings in the Washington devised mandate. Nawaz comes in with the same or polished mandate. Old car but new polish and people are taken for the ride and pillion ride is not allowed but Nawaz and Benazir are on the same bandwagon.

Paradoxical are their motives. People who were given chances not once but twice, didn’t prove then, how can they be expected to be pariah this time. Did Bibi happen to visit the angels of the seventh skies to have soul washed? Nopes she was on the cloud #9 which rains on the roofs of the White House. While Nawaz is the poodle to Benazir as was Blair of Bush’s.

Pakistan civilians are in for yet another ride. The same cycle renews every 7-8 years. Hence proved, memory if not touched with corruption and news for 7-8 years tends to lose on information prior to 7-8 years. One advice for the Pakistan civilians, with the entry of either Bibi or Nawaz, prices are not plummeting. Petrol is not to be for PKR 2 and Tomatoes for PKR 3.

Hence proved, the Black emergency was benign from what is to come.

Just a note on Gulgee. His death, very tragic but what ‘terrorism’ could he have caused at the very frail age of 83? And that he was brutally murdered. Possible link to this could be India which wants Pakistan to be at a compromising position and herself have the greater share of the cake everytime and everywhere. Gulgee with the international repute had a stupendous impact or footprint in the arts industry. India too boasts talent but cannot bear to see Pakistan leveling it any time. Thus every industry sees rot recently, irrespective of its nature. Even wheat is being imported and local market being discouraged to promote bilateral relations which India less cares about.

Moreso, his death also comes at a point when the train derailment incident was in the news. It was feared that the casualty reported might go spiraling and GEO might be on a vengeance mode against the Government and might want to level some scores of the Emergency Plus. Thus to cover up and neutralise the  effect of the train accident, Gulgee had to come under the Guillotine. Poor Soul. This could be another possibility.

The Angel Sheds the Uniform and Emergency

46 years of loyalty and dedicated ones with accolades that could occupy the whole office desk. The General, emotional, but went through the trough quite slyly. Another card, with which he was expert of and sailed his country to the shores everytime it was ‘externally’ pressured and brought to a brink of ultimate decision to reprimand. Be it AQ Khan or the internal but worsening judiciary crises, the Commando commandeered swiftly but patiently. But nonetheless, this too has to pass, with raised eyebrows around him and sullen whispers to onself of those behind him, who reflected the opportunistic ‘loyalty’ in his uniform, the absence of which might see some of his flanks in the civilian rows squirm, although a bit.

The opposition and sitting outside the ruling parliament had a day to rejoice over the event which was indeed heavy but the Commando controlled unlike his rivals, the Bibi who didn’t descend on the ground but shed her tears before her steps and Nawaz too obliged upon given safe passage and haven and reaching Lahore. The very gulf between the ‘corrupt’ civilians and trained army personnel highlights the priorities and terse training which molds the army ranks for superior show of stubborn nationalism whereas the counterparts have little to show in this regard. For this very bold reason and characterisitic, the Commando was dearer than others present to the masses although, the economic indicators have improved under him but nonetheless, some of the whiners can be found in abundant on the streets and in focus in the international media casting the not very sublime nature of the government but still managing it to taint it.

What now? Elections are around, the bugle is sounding, parties are preparing to welcome the precedented ‘Lota’ culture in the politics, which has to change and many desire it.

Now more on the political parties and the political atmosphere for which the public is to blame, again. Same old faces and the Pakistani nation continues to believe the bluffers again. Same age old tactics, but now wrapped in attractive cover, no no this isn’t any advertisement for safety blades featuring some I-want-to-be-adored-no-matter-what economic (read cheap) model. What has a woman to do with blades? Brains aren’t there but brawns when it comes to advertising in the third world countries.

So the political parties are fueling up the gantry to launch their offensive with apparently no profile which suggests that they have learnt a lesson. Nawaz Sharif is a case in point. 7 years of exile; rather opposition and what is the outcome? Long history of financially sponsoring feuds which irk the Government, be it Musharraf or anyone. Let the dust settle, have this written, the opposition would pounce again, right after the elections, on the seemingly baseless fact that elections were rigged. And this is to continue for 3-4 months after elections, holding the nation, the structure, the government cornered with a runny nose.

What Democracy? Which democracy are they (Nawaz , Bibi & Co.) are advocating? The democracy which ensures their premiership everytime? In this context, Tony Blair, John Major, Margaret Thatcher, Bush Sr, Bill Clinton should have filed a petition in the Pakistan Courts to have them granted ‘provisional’ Pakistani nationality with a clause to have initiated a political party. And with this, they can initiate a course of lavish well being, with remote and expensive estates all around the world with many workers who would continue flattering him and putting a noose around the nation to have them elected in their parties and the assembly. Perhaps, they stood unlucky. Where is Tony Blair now? Nowhere in the news. He did his job. Period. Gone down the history into nothingness and anonymity.

But here, they wish to be the kings of their parties, tightly holding onto their seats till the last breath, a culture very well introduced by the Father of Democracy, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.

And they whine about 7 years of military rule. Under what right? Upcoming elections are to be yet again a Zoo going activity with much fervour but the end result? Only pennies. It’s better to nail down the parties, the media and let Musharraf and his coterie to make way for yet another term. Take Tony as a guide for a composite and potent stable government.

Benazir and the Bomb Blast – Who did it? PPP did it

Well, now Benazir, steps into the van to take rest. 11 hours in waiting, she gets restlesss. To ward off the workers, who thronged in from every nook of Pakistan, something sympathetic for Benazir had to be put up. So she wants to get back to Bilawal house and leave it to the rest to bear, a bomb is triggered. This was preplanned for sure. The moment she resigns to the cabin, the twin bombs go off.

Why not earlier? Why not when she left the Airport? Why not when the Bus got onto the Shah Faisal Road? Why right after 11 hours, at that particular point, where its believed the lighting too was dimmer than before.

Well, by now, PPP workers have gathered much hatred against the Government, with this move, the party wants to have its votes permanent and loyalty in the first place, so this was the right card in a sensitive moment. Another political gimmick to gather sympathy. More the casualties and more the conspiracy from the Angel’s side gets into darkness. Benazir comes out clean. Why? Why because her own protectors got hurt and wounded. At the end of the day, Government and Arbab Ghulam would have to bear the brunt, as the bombs were fixed in the Police cars.

See the twist? Police car, owned and controlled by the Government, whereas the Government would have tried its maximum to control the whole procession with added security measures. But in the end, according to some reports, some spokespersons were of the view that Government failed to protect. In the first place, why would, if the Government really targeted her, use its own protocol and formal vehicles which could be identified without any complications?

Secondly, getting her own coterie wounded, would wash away their sinister plans. The impact of which is concrete loyalty is confirmed from the party workers who, might get swayed, through Government tactics (which had previously tried to much extent) which were executed quite skillfully, not to mention, the Reconciliatory Ordinance was such an engineered program which had done much damage at the upper level.

Moreover, 11 hours of wait too got much of nerves. So continuing the scenario, she gets the information that ‘this’ is the place; she steps down, bombs explode, she is escorted in a nearby Mercedes parked lowly and hideously in a nearby side street which goes down into the darkness all the way to Bilawal house, as right after the explosion she was safely in the House within 15 minutes, while the people in millions get stranded and run around in chaotic circles. See the connection? Possible. Possible in Pakistani Politics.

Later today, its expected that a call for a ‘Black’ Day in protest would be called for those who got wounded or died. And a note for the families who lost their near and dear ones, Benazir is not coming to your houses for condolences so no need for much formalities, please.

P.S – The propaganda of Reconciliatory Ordinance and Deal with Musharraf got into the back seat after the explosions. The Ordinance lays buried under the rubble of Human Flesh. Thus, Benazir and her coterie might have orchestrated it to have their names and repute at the stake of Ordinance card of the Government to be struck off and medals be awaited which are etched with blood of their own party workers.

People of Pakistan are nothing but sheep.
