The Angel Sheds the Uniform and Emergency II

15 12 2007

Loser at the moment stands out to be, unfortunately, Imran Khan, who however has gained momentum in the Student circles who aspire and greatly desire change at all levels including theirs. But yet again, the cards are drawn and known at the higher levels. Levels which are incomprehensible, as garbs of deceit and conspiracy blended with ulterior hypocrisy is the norm in the parliament of Pakistan including the constitution. Blotched at every nook and to the core.

The revolutionary guards too have a history which took birth from the Universities, but status quo of Pakistan is much more different. Different classes, different languages, difference of provinces, has drawn up the stealth lines between the very people sharing the same ideology. The ideology which may not be obsolete but has taken the back seat or pushed back. And pushed back so diligently and between the crevices of inflation, disorder, corruption, the masses have been efficiently duped and reduced into a herd of sheep destined to the slaughter house and then reborn again to repeat the cycles.

Yet again, with the upcoming elections on January 8, for which the international lobbies have made it like their ‘own’ mandate, Lord knows how, but however they are keen to change to their aspirations; aspiration which wouldn’t go in the favour of Pakistan. On the forefront being America (read Umreeka Bahadur). On the eve of emergency, which was touted and flayed upon by all and sundry and local columnists labeled it as ‘Emergency Plus’, naive countries like Holland too were on the fore to cut economic relations with Pakistan. Such communities should know the ground realities as to where they are seen and where they should be seen and what standing do they have in the world order. Holland is nothing but Tulips, Tourism and open stalls of Marijuana being sold like caviar like delicacies. Such economies are run on coffee shops and souvenirs.

This very much reflects the lax foreign policy of Pakistan. It can’t be offensive when it has the Bomb. The much feared but still an asset for the Muslim world, but nonetheless always on target, whether being a press conference or some army base off the border of Pakistan and Afghanistan. The real concern right now making round is this capability; and capability of Pakistan ‘only’. Right reserved. Musharraf is quite very right in preserving the slogan, ‘Pakistan First’.

So now, even after the very coy tactic of getting the book, Military Inc. out on racks, the military gave a cold shoulder and the book was buried and Aisha Siddiqa, the championed author of the publication was nonetheless revealed of her connections with the Indian High Commission and her travel frequencies between India and England. Against Pakistan, the troika of England, India, America is very much rotating around the ideology of bringing Pakistan at a compromising position. But Pakistan Military was quite deft in playing her cards carefully; controlling the inert rifts caused through the connivance of the politicians who have gone beyond conviction to show their insincerity to Pakistan and more carnal affiliation with the earnings through the private means to disrupt the Pakistani show.

But why Pakistan is in focus. Why Pakistan on target? This question CANNOT be answered by the oft faith selling politicians. Only the sincere brass, unfortunately, the military has the answer. Its quite unfortunate for the military to be on the cross roads every time there was a calamity. And foreign lobbies left no stone unturned to criss-cross military with evil motives.

Even if assumed military is no good, neither are the politicians minus Imran Khan.

And a word for the media, not much different from the political echelons. GEO projected itself to be another purchasable, off the rack and non nationalist commercial item. Freedom for GEO is like allowing the llamas to run wild in the city when maps are not made for them. Strict measures ought to be taken to have an eagle’s eye on them. Benazir, who claims herself to be ‘too’ secular, didn’t allow media to drag her facts out in the open. Then why is it the military deviled when he allowed much more freedom. Double standards don’t work in the West but they are exported here.

One message to the West – Import our politicians in your system, and then we’ll see whether you flourish or wait for Japan to reprimand you with sanctions every now and then; and then we would allow your inspectors to comment and supervise our elections. When you can train our military men to your advantage why not the politicians? Although Jinnah, the veteran didn’t have to take any from you. Period.

The Angel Sheds the Uniform and Emergency

15 12 2007

46 years of loyalty and dedicated ones with accolades that could occupy the whole office desk. The General, emotional, but went through the trough quite slyly. Another card, with which he was expert of and sailed his country to the shores everytime it was ‘externally’ pressured and brought to a brink of ultimate decision to reprimand. Be it AQ Khan or the internal but worsening judiciary crises, the Commando commandeered swiftly but patiently. But nonetheless, this too has to pass, with raised eyebrows around him and sullen whispers to onself of those behind him, who reflected the opportunistic ‘loyalty’ in his uniform, the absence of which might see some of his flanks in the civilian rows squirm, although a bit.

The opposition and sitting outside the ruling parliament had a day to rejoice over the event which was indeed heavy but the Commando controlled unlike his rivals, the Bibi who didn’t descend on the ground but shed her tears before her steps and Nawaz too obliged upon given safe passage and haven and reaching Lahore. The very gulf between the ‘corrupt’ civilians and trained army personnel highlights the priorities and terse training which molds the army ranks for superior show of stubborn nationalism whereas the counterparts have little to show in this regard. For this very bold reason and characterisitic, the Commando was dearer than others present to the masses although, the economic indicators have improved under him but nonetheless, some of the whiners can be found in abundant on the streets and in focus in the international media casting the not very sublime nature of the government but still managing it to taint it.

What now? Elections are around, the bugle is sounding, parties are preparing to welcome the precedented ‘Lota’ culture in the politics, which has to change and many desire it.

Now more on the political parties and the political atmosphere for which the public is to blame, again. Same old faces and the Pakistani nation continues to believe the bluffers again. Same age old tactics, but now wrapped in attractive cover, no no this isn’t any advertisement for safety blades featuring some I-want-to-be-adored-no-matter-what economic (read cheap) model. What has a woman to do with blades? Brains aren’t there but brawns when it comes to advertising in the third world countries.

So the political parties are fueling up the gantry to launch their offensive with apparently no profile which suggests that they have learnt a lesson. Nawaz Sharif is a case in point. 7 years of exile; rather opposition and what is the outcome? Long history of financially sponsoring feuds which irk the Government, be it Musharraf or anyone. Let the dust settle, have this written, the opposition would pounce again, right after the elections, on the seemingly baseless fact that elections were rigged. And this is to continue for 3-4 months after elections, holding the nation, the structure, the government cornered with a runny nose.

What Democracy? Which democracy are they (Nawaz , Bibi & Co.) are advocating? The democracy which ensures their premiership everytime? In this context, Tony Blair, John Major, Margaret Thatcher, Bush Sr, Bill Clinton should have filed a petition in the Pakistan Courts to have them granted ‘provisional’ Pakistani nationality with a clause to have initiated a political party. And with this, they can initiate a course of lavish well being, with remote and expensive estates all around the world with many workers who would continue flattering him and putting a noose around the nation to have them elected in their parties and the assembly. Perhaps, they stood unlucky. Where is Tony Blair now? Nowhere in the news. He did his job. Period. Gone down the history into nothingness and anonymity.

But here, they wish to be the kings of their parties, tightly holding onto their seats till the last breath, a culture very well introduced by the Father of Democracy, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.

And they whine about 7 years of military rule. Under what right? Upcoming elections are to be yet again a Zoo going activity with much fervour but the end result? Only pennies. It’s better to nail down the parties, the media and let Musharraf and his coterie to make way for yet another term. Take Tony as a guide for a composite and potent stable government.

Loser till now stands the firm and straightforward, Imran.

Punjab University – From the Clutches of Jamaat to Insaaf, Iranian or Islamic Revolution Reborn?

20 11 2007

As expected, brawl invites brawl; after Imran’s forced and tortured exit, students of the Punjab University have taken it seriously. Violent protests have been reported in the galleys of the University. This was natural; Jamaat e Islami has been maintaining an aura of unease for all these years. The very mindset of the students has been arrested under the so-called holy garb of the Jamaat e Islami which was never implementable on the implementers. Particular primitive mindset. The enforces roams free while the common unindulgent has to abide under the shadows of the stick and gun.

In Lahore, UET which was popularly then pronounced as University of Error and Terror in the pre-administration of Shahbaz Sharif. After which, just like Naseer Ullah Babar Vs. MQM in Karachi, it was Sharif Vs. Jamiat e Tuleba.

How could a mature party like Jamaat E Islami, resolve its intent to rule Pakistan when one of its faction was operating with impunity and without check and that which left grudge and mistrust in its folds. Such mismanagement cannot produce results save hatred and bigotry. The very uprising is the vent and catharsis of the people of Pakistan against the very religion Jamaat E Islami wants to propagate with a stick. Intolerable. Simple.

Though, the protests have been fresh from the shell, nothing can be said about it later. Perhaps, it could subside or could gain momentum. Either way, Jamiat has learnt a lesson and more to come. Moreover, the very strength of the Jamiat has been unfolded and lays bare and revealed in the galleys of the beautiful University. The Jamiat would have less now to growl about. More freedom. But Pakistanis and the icons should have a check.

Jamiat can be commended for keep immorality out of the campus. Nonetheless, this is imperative nowadays. Imperialism brought in its fruits of vice to the subcontinent and one of which was considering immorality and promiscuity (although restricted) as a standard of the West. While this is street life and Hollywood’s inflated yet untrue niche of the West but not evidenced in their corporate culture. Broad mindedness doesn’t depend on immorality to flourish. Its the difference of the mindset that needs culturing. And Pakistan has taken the other route.

For this, Jamiat has a feather in their hat to have contained the social negativity to creep in. At the moment, it seems, if seen through their periscope, unseen hands (lobbies) are at work to disband the influence of the Jamiat. Jamaat E Islami now should take the administration and the student’s federation in their confidence and devise a council which includes their part and some of the students to pacify their emotions, for the moment. Diplomacy has to play in here and quick, otherwise the picture is grim. Many hands might have exchanged notes and currencies to formulate the conspiracy to oust the Jamiat. This also suggests that the first and following people to assault Imran were not from the Jamiat. Although, Qazi Hussain should step in reconciliate and bring the very students who started it, if they were indeed students, to punitive measures and discourse with the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf.

The Jamiat shouldn’t be yielding to the foreign pressure completely but should roll back the fashion of terror they have maintained. Ethics should be reestablised within their ranks and this is not difficult. Jamiat is known to have maintained torture cells in the University previously and in the UET armed conflicts too have been reported but that was yesteryears. Nothing is lost. Negotiations should be done and fast. Both sides should give up their gruesome activities and attitudes over that.

If the foreign hands are allowed to rein, that would weaken the students and their purposes; but not from the facefront but instrinsically.

Imran has fared quite well here but he should be in control of the situation here. He could condemn the protests and postpone the same until he is released. Not only would this expedite his exit from the captivity, Imran would have proved another fact that he is a leader which most are not ready to accept. All the parties should see the silver lining or it goes unnoticed, again.

The Jamiat should step out of their norms of terrorising and fear and amalgamate with the inhabitants of the University. They should wake up to the norms of the street and to the beats of the wishes of the common public lest some areas might develop into No-Go areas again if the situation is not controlled now.

Apparently, for no fault of theirs, PTI and Jamat e Islami are on a collision course.

Emergency & 9th November and Beyond

9 11 2007

6 days since the promulgation of the emergency. Media, most of it is under the locks, but no public turmoil seems to be outpouring against it save GEO news, which was and still is quite vocal for the emergency that seems only existing on GEO. The public response, particularly, the business community welcomed the move. Ironic. The business community cannot be bought overnight, but how come the community sides with the General?

Seeing this trend, the trend of serenity of an issue which was taken up quite seriously, where some of the EU countries and only 1 from the Far East, ‘Japan’, have upped the pressure through their usual threatening tones of banning Pakistan their aid and ending her tumultuous and tiring marriage with Common Wealth.

Now, with the expected protest call given by the Bibi jee, which was efficiently foiled yet again, which reflects management from Punjab’s side which is going strong and also non callous response of the public, situation at the ground level seems normal and life is going as it is. No restlessness, as planned and tried-to-be-instigated was visible. The conspirators and think tanks which see in Benazir the opening up of the nuclear assets and handing over the Doctor over the US, she already has proved the very political behaviour to devour Pakistan by providing the lists of the Sikh freedom fighters back in the early 90’s to buy the Prime Minister’s post, the treacherous way to which goes through many deals and White House, want her to be on the forefront and vocal about her position. The sheep of Pakistan a.k.a the Public, are short sighted and have loss of memory; even so, many might not be able to recall the former name of Faisalabad. With such mindset, democracy is another game to bank on the monetary reserves which saw the graph rising though gradually.

Now with elements gaining strength in Swat valley, situation there is still not being taken to note by the military. If it does, the fate would same as Bugti and Lal Masjid. Period.

With the current situation, in the NWFP, race is on for the future stakeholder of Pakistan between 2 contenders, Bibi and Military; latter being in the power, Bibi stresses interim government to oversee transparent elections which wouldn’t be possible under the current regime which would influence the elections in February to be swayed in their favour to keep the Bibi out. Possible, perhaps.

Emergency could be a herald, to gain time for more homework as pressure mounts with each passing day. The present Government, till now managed, with the plethora of projects being completed in more of a rush than calculated to woo more of voters who seldom have voted for any of these advocates of democracy carrying tainted history and democracy.

What is to Come?

Now with the facts available; no public outpour on emergency, Government now showing lax to allow some media channels which are screaming at the top pitch in futile reflecting their biased opinion and propaganda rich purposes to derail the Government. The conspirators would resort to some tactic to see the Government on its toes and doldrums. What could that move be? More of attacks? Possible. More of unrest in NWFP? Perhaps. Free hand to the militants in Swat who aren’t Taliban as realities confirm them to be Uzbeks; Ahmed Shah Masood too had an Uzbek background and also had Indian support and enjoyed public relations with the latter. The militancy would then be geared up at the border; foreign pressure would mount on the military. But they too wouldn’t be sitting without a plan. Maps would have been drawn by now, strategies chalked out, locals would have been invited for more rigorous support in return of peace and tranquility and control.

Much is to be seen, coming weeks are crucial for Pakistan.

The upcoming long march (between 15 and 18th of November) in protest of emergency would again be taken with an iron fist as precedented and wouldn’t show any promise but would keep investors on the wary, still. But politicians cooing while pigeonholed, would at least have something to exhibit that they too form the part of the game and that they shouldn’t be stashed out from deck of options the foreign lobbies have before them. But politicians too would be shown the exit this 15th which justifies the long march to justify their political ‘existence’ or be left out, simple.

Let’s wait and watch, how the stars form and the term in the Wild Wild West too coming to its ebb of end, things would change a bit quickly. Possible perhaps.

Emergency – Another Covert Musharraf and Iftikhar Partnership in the Making

3 11 2007

With the headlines already made since this evening. Pakistan has yet another time been put into a coma, although a short one this time. So much already said and more done than said. Let’s read between the lines as to what has caused this ruckus which caught most of us with surprise.

9th March is appropriate to start with. Or a little earlier than this; before this day, Rule of Law was not respected. Musharraf played a card, Chaudhary Iftikhar was mishandled and dismissed on puny charges, if such charges are taken in seriously, then many of the coterie of the present and earlier governments would have to seek self-exile and that too British sponsored. After the 9th, the public of Pakistan was given a new life. Although the form in 1947 but the spirit waited. The West stresses on the restoration of Democracy; but what has Democracy evolved for the people of Pakistan? Nothing but princely mansions never to be seen and questioned by the Pakistani citizen. Now after the respect was exposed; the respect of the Supreme Court and rule of Law, if noticed no democratic was that vocal for it. Why? They knew that if legislation, courts, Chief Justice are introduced as upholding rule of law, the heydays of usurping the public tax – money would be history. This was unacceptable. For this very conspiring notion of corruption, Jinnah was put to rest earlier. If the constitution and rule of Law awakes, black and white business sees the door. Musharraf tried this with the black garb of the political ascetic. But alas, the People of Pakistan can digest those who rob them of their pennies and build their mansions and factories.

So now, with the emergency in place, another pawn, another development. The Government’s anti-petition was under hearing and the Government knew it that it had lost ground. Now upcoming is the 18th of November when the President had to take oath as the President for the next 5 years and colluding was the Swat encounter which has geared up unanticipatingly; kudos to the Indian consulate in Jalalabad, which is overseeing terrorist activities in and around the NWFP and Baluchistan. Pakistan has to take note of this.

Under a very planned scheme, the Pakistan Military has been framed into this. Once it is made to believe by the people that Pakistan Military is against the very own people, the ground to act gets more stressed and limited and options do get lesser. Not to mention the Indian hand is very much active here. Nobody ever heard of Maulana Fazlullah, who camps alongside the border where he might be getting assistance from the Indian Consultate. Everone’s speaking of the Taliban here and there, but what about unseen forces which are out to bring ill-repute to the Pakistan Military. Then the unabated and uninformed American bombing is yet another cause of disrespect gaining against the Pakistan Military.

A well conceived notion is being imbibed into the common people against the Pakistan Military. Seeing this and the recent development going in behind and inside the books of law, a.k.a Chaudhary Iftikhar considering the legitimacy of Musharraf holding double oaths. Musharraf had to confront the two way road. Either the legal and legislative route or the one which allows more intensive decisive actions on such elements.

Not to mention, the Lal Masjid issue was leniently dealt with in its infancy. But where did from the weapons land in the Madrassah? Indian hand? Foreign financing? Probably, possibly. Indian elements with the connivance of Afghan compatriots and US dollars, much magic is going unnoticed.

Now with the emergency in place, Musharraf has options to sweep out such elements. But the initiators of rogue upsurge are themselves the holders of constitutional democracy. Musharraf would have to consider the ‘loss’ of such elements to consider the welfare of the State.

Nonetheless, what can be pre-maturely assessed, is that the President and the Chief of Army Staff had an intensive discourse with other of his comrades. The decision to eliminate the elements working in and out of Pakistan to destabilise it would have been reached and this ‘Emergency’ is the first card played.

Nonetheless, this emergency was mandatory. As the public now again, blindly stood up for the lady, who previously doesn’t have a nice track record. Proven but the public is just a herd of sheep which offers its leather for purses which hold the money but never bringing back the sheep, ever, life. Moreover had the Supreme Court upheld the verdict of illegitimacy of double oaths, the unruly elements springing up would have had some space to get dynamic. Democracy has proved beyond doubt in history that it holds position to be bloated and failed. Nothing positive can be expected as long as its Muslim nations.

The last card would be the reinstatement of Chaudhary Iftikhar as the Chief Justice. This is what I read in between. Probably, possible.

The rise of Benazir Bhutto

28 10 2007

Sunday, October 28, 2007
Yasser Latif Hamdani

Benazir is back. Without drumming about the salience of the events of last week, it should suffice to say that she is back with a bang- a bang that resonated — where no previous Pakistani bang resonated – in that hallowed hall of international diplomacy that is United Nations Security Council. It seems that the international community does not seem to notice the loss of hundreds of innocent lives anywhere in the third world, unless of course it came close to killing someone of significance on the global stage. Still there is no downplaying that the fact as far as significance goes, Benazir Bhutto is the most significant individual on the world stage right now. Linked with her is the future of a country of 160 million people, the second most populous nuclear-armed Muslim majority nation, and a country that has played a pivotal role in global politics since the Second World War. Therefore, it is no surprise that when Benazir travels in and around Pakistan this week, the world will be watching her every move.

A lot has been written, indeed right from her first homecoming, about the comparison with her famous father, the late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. The elder Bhutto was a global figure in his own right. Because he was passionate and patriotic, he electrified the people of Pakistan. On the global stage he positioned himself as a great third world and Islamic bloc leader challenging the might of the super power – though he was enough of a diplomat cut from the cloth of Talleyrand himself to have a good working relationship with the US. He failed because Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was, despite his Berkeley and Oxford education, at the end of the day steeped in the feudal politics of honor and revenge. Never financially corrupt, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was capable of considerable cruelty and guile towards his enemies real or perceived and in many ways, he had risen too high too early. This was also the cause of his downfall. Had he become the Prime Minister a decade or two late, he would have a statesman of the highest caliber who would have never made the tremendous mistakes he did. He paid for those with his life. If Benazir Bhutto becomes the Prime Minister next year, she will be 55 years of age. That is five years older than the age her father died at. Her first two terms in office came at a difficult time. She was a newly married young woman who carried the burden of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s martyrdom on her arms. Her mistakes were horrible and they dented her credibility considerably. The Benazir of 2007 is markedly different from Bhutto’s daughter of 1986. While she owes her constituency to her father, Benazir’s style of politics is at considerable variance to his, at time diametrically opposite.

For one Benazir Bhutto is unabashedly pro-West. While her father had quit the British commonwealth — a largely ceremonial cultural fraternity – it was Benazir who re-joined it. Unlike her father, she is not swayed by the romance of revolution. Her politics is not red by any stretch of imagination. We got a glimpse of that when the stock exchange shot up to unprecedented levels on the day of her return. Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on the other hand is rightly credited with the most devastating blow to the business sector of Pakistan with his ill-advised nationalization. In many ways despite being the inheritor of the glorious Bhutto legacy of populist politics, Benazir is increasingly coming into her own as a leader who has ready to make hard choices and take tough decisions. But does she have it in her to carry out the monumental task before her? The very fabric of Pakistan’s society has been torn asunder by parochial concerns and the military establishment’s manipulation of right wing Islamic groups. All over the world Pakistan has been projected – with some truth to it albeit exaggerated – as a violent and extremist society. In these circumstances, even the most well-meaning and honest of politicians like Imran Khan are clueless. They honestly believe that religious extremism is not an issue in Pakistan. The media — completely free and independent – reflects the middle class’ flirtation with this the re-hashed and Islamised “anti-Americanism”. A TV anchor who narrowly escaped death last week in the Karachi suicide bombing was seen lamenting the fact that while condemning Islamic radicals for their activities, no one condemned the “liberal fascists” for their actions. As if the “liberal fascists” were going about blowing themselves up in crowds of people.

Benazir must — to use her father’s phrase – pick up the pieces. Her stand must be clear. The answers are well known: While respecting its Islamic heritage and sense of identity, Pakistan must become for all practical purposes a secular state with clear separation of church and state. She must undo the terrible legacy of outward and hypocritical Islamization, which ironically was initiated by her own father. As the leader of the largest and the strongest party she must go at it alone without any futile consensus building exercise. Benazir must learn to live in the solitude of great leaders. She must leave her father behind and rise above him not for the sake of popularity but posterity. Despite her many faults, Benazir today commands the support of the people. For once Uncle Sam also seems to be on the right side of the Pakistani current, dragging the army and the establishment along kicking and screaming. The soldier-president must also know that while he will fade away into oblivion, Benazir is the best hope for the future of his agenda of enlightened moderation. A democratically elected strong woman Prime Minister like her alone can further the little good Musharraf has achieved. He must therefore come out in total support of Benazir Bhutto.

Also if and when this battle is fought and won, Benazir must also preside over the institutionalization of the great Pakistan People’s Party as a truly broad based political party of the masses, no longer dependant on caste and biradari politics of rural Punjab and Sindh. The Pirs and the Makhdooms must ultimately give way to party workers like Jehangir Badr and Fauzia Wahab — extracted from the people. Pakistan People’s Party must also, for itself and for Pakistan, break away from the South Asian tradition of the cult of personality. Benazir must ensure that she is absolutely the last Bhutto to lord over this party, but is the first of many Benazirs that the party will produce from within its cadres in the service of the nation. Only then will she be able to go down in history as a truly epoch-making figure. May Allah help her succeed in her stated objectives and protect her from those who want to harm her. Amen!

Government parties, military and Taliban seem to be uneasy with the lady. Ladies’ apartment is specifically separate, that explains.

One candidate who could stop her from surfacing again as PM is probability of keeping Shahbaz Sharif around the seat. Government previously had the ‘Little’ Sharif in good books. Lately, it would be possible, Government might have initiated some talks with the brothers. ‘Elder’ Sharif might not extend warm hands to the Government, to save face. But the Junior brother was scurried unscathed, the card is ready. Let’s see how things turn up. The General is waiting for the Supreme Court’s ruling for him or against him.

But cards are ready for yet another showdown.

Benazir and the Bomb Blast – Who did it? PPP did it

18 10 2007

Well, now Benazir, steps into the van to take rest. 11 hours in waiting, she gets restlesss. To ward off the workers, who thronged in from every nook of Pakistan, something sympathetic for Benazir had to be put up. So she wants to get back to Bilawal house and leave it to the rest to bear, a bomb is triggered. This was preplanned for sure. The moment she resigns to the cabin, the twin bombs go off.

Why not earlier? Why not when she left the Airport? Why not when the Bus got onto the Shah Faisal Road? Why right after 11 hours, at that particular point, where its believed the lighting too was dimmer than before.

Well, by now, PPP workers have gathered much hatred against the Government, with this move, the party wants to have its votes permanent and loyalty in the first place, so this was the right card in a sensitive moment. Another political gimmick to gather sympathy. More the casualties and more the conspiracy from the Angel’s side gets into darkness. Benazir comes out clean. Why? Why because her own protectors got hurt and wounded. At the end of the day, Government and Arbab Ghulam would have to bear the brunt, as the bombs were fixed in the Police cars.

See the twist? Police car, owned and controlled by the Government, whereas the Government would have tried its maximum to control the whole procession with added security measures. But in the end, according to some reports, some spokespersons were of the view that Government failed to protect. In the first place, why would, if the Government really targeted her, use its own protocol and formal vehicles which could be identified without any complications?

Secondly, getting her own coterie wounded, would wash away their sinister plans. The impact of which is concrete loyalty is confirmed from the party workers who, might get swayed, through Government tactics (which had previously tried to much extent) which were executed quite skillfully, not to mention, the Reconciliatory Ordinance was such an engineered program which had done much damage at the upper level.

Moreover, 11 hours of wait too got much of nerves. So continuing the scenario, she gets the information that ‘this’ is the place; she steps down, bombs explode, she is escorted in a nearby Mercedes parked lowly and hideously in a nearby side street which goes down into the darkness all the way to Bilawal house, as right after the explosion she was safely in the House within 15 minutes, while the people in millions get stranded and run around in chaotic circles. See the connection? Possible. Possible in Pakistani Politics.

Later today, its expected that a call for a ‘Black’ Day in protest would be called for those who got wounded or died. And a note for the families who lost their near and dear ones, Benazir is not coming to your houses for condolences so no need for much formalities, please.

P.S – The propaganda of Reconciliatory Ordinance and Deal with Musharraf got into the back seat after the explosions. The Ordinance lays buried under the rubble of Human Flesh. Thus, Benazir and her coterie might have orchestrated it to have their names and repute at the stake of Ordinance card of the Government to be struck off and medals be awaited which are etched with blood of their own party workers.

People of Pakistan are nothing but sheep.
