Jay & Jay Co. (Jiyaala & Joota Co.) and the Hidden Agenda

10 08 2010

And that Zardari sahab received a not so standing ovation. And why would he have? The French Chateau, the private visit, the jeans, the T-Shirts and the bloody floody situation back in the country, the falling Fauzias, Gondals and Kairas, nothing seemed to be in place and Providence wasn’t really happy about it.

But don’t forget the Airblue disaster meanwhile.

In the name of ethics, nearly every sane person everywhere opposed this visit. And why did Zardari have to take a walk in France and Britain? What a leadership. Immaculately selfish and devoid of sympathy. The leadership standards are just not so well understood at both ends.

The likes of Kaira, Fauzia Wahhab and Ph.D Babar Awan are on their toes but they too are prepared to defend the step taken by Zardari. Foreign but old whiskies are indeed enlightening.

What was the need? One must think. Zardari leaves at the height of disaster striking the central and North West part of Pakistan. Was it really a disaster? Perhaps, the water could have been set loose, to avert the attention of all and many from Airblue. Rumours are building up that Airblue was hijacked by Blackwater and that the Nuclear research center, Kahuta, the thorn in the West’s throat was the target but ‘averted’.

Averted or say jammed by the Pak Army which stays alert and keep an eye on the crawling insect around Islamabad. The Army was swift enough to have controlled the aircraft well before it made headway for Kahuta, as it had change course; a concern which shouldn’t have been let go without notice. One may wonder and why should I, Uncle Sam wonders why can’t they find any Zardaris, Kairas and Awans and Chaudhrys in Pak Army? Answer – Pak Army go to Universities, the Defence University. While Dastis are mere drop out who aren’t welcome, neither at the airports or the immigration.

While, if Airblue was hijacked and jammed by the Army or say latter wasn’t, the Head Pilot might have gone for the extreme nationalism and embraced martyrdom along with other 151 (152-1), the one who could’nt make it was the one who might have done the act for Sam. But couldn’t pull it through at the right time.

Then Zardari heading off immediately, could be apology visit for not accomplishing the Airblue feat gone sour. And perhaps, Indian RAW, American Blackwater might have received Zardari at the French Chateau. Who knows. The maintenance charges were due and the creditors wanted an answer. It was rush hour. An apology was necessary, Sam was fuming. While the majority of the populace was entangled and made busy. While the whole world lambasted Zardari and his ilk, the inside story was efficiently covered up. Peel it off.

It wasn’t 152 victims in the airplane disaster, it was the whole country. Cable operators are controlled by yet another mafia which has roots in England. Burning of newspaper was planted. Papers are harder than stone. Remember the game Paper, Rock, Scissors?? While internet is publishing the newspaper. Send Jiyaalaaz to Hong Kong and Dubai to tear down the servers. Pull the juice on the servers.

Zardari+Joota+Jiyaala+Jeneral+Judiciary+Journalist+Jamat e Islami = Pakistan.

While GEO and ARY are fuming and seething over the closure. Musharraf’s legacy lives on. Musharraf, no need to come back.

Musharraf and The Pandora Box

24 11 2007

Not a week which goes empty without any rustle or riffle in the Pakistani melodrama. Political forces at their helm with quite a lot preparations, ongoing to stage protests, long marches, ticket sale for the upcoming elections; something or the other is waiting to pounce in the middle and grab attention while wooing the locals. Pakistani scenario is alive and kicking.

From the grim defeat in the One Day series, Shoaib Malik has at least cemented his place for a year, at least; irrespective whether he is a good show himself with results for his team or not for the rest of the year but the hammer has been struck. Naive decisions coming in too quick, where fools rush in obviously. It was that one day victory which wasn’t in itself a decider whence Shoaib Malik got to retain the crown.

While the Hero of Cricket, rather the King Khan of cricket was bailed out of the jail following his staunch stance of hunger strike which lasted for well over 50+ hours and indeed without a morsel and a drop of water.  At such a sensitive age where the joints too aren’t that responsive, Imran Khan has showed tremendous resilience to the status quo of Pakistan and raised himself as a mature and understanding politician. But I would rather again stay on the fact that still he has to learn from this peers a.k.a Nawaz and Qazi who have flouted and ditched him several times. But he hit the iron at the right time. This time it was Jamaat e Islami that it exposed the intricacies and the ‘bad’ truth the Punjab University was keeping this long.

Jamiat, the student faction of the Jamaat, doesn’t come out clean; either now or previously. With tarnished image emanating from the gruesome murders back in the 80’s and following after that, refer to link – http://www.express.com.pk/images/NP_LHE/20071124/Sub_Images/1100304446-2.gif for more details in Urdu. Black history has been chalked out on the walls of the academia in Lahore. Such that, student division which is normally keep aloof from the outside world had to take the brunt to be a burning charcoal to keep the bandwagon of Jamaat e Islami going on till today. But the dent has been placed. Swift and silent. Jamaat has still to recover. All that is needed is lifting of some of the plates and the restive volcano is no more so.

More so, Nawaz has been lucky to cast off his home sickness once more time, this time at the behest of the Government which previously was too obedient to Bibi Jee. Now Bibi is in, Government has her surrounded, sometimes in Lahore or Karachi. But since her return, she has not been able to move the crowds against the dictator, which tells how much she is trapped after the NRO. Bibi jee you were warned. But time has to play the cards or is it Shujaat and Pervez Ilahi Duo? Who knows. Now Nawaz gets the clear signal to head back in to corner the Bibi finally.  Most probably and possibly, PML (Q) and PML (N) are to form the alliance, but after much compromise and hopefully Shahbaz who is already in the good books of the Military would take the seat. Shaukat has given the sign already; and who else is equally competent after him? Shahbaz is the answer or perhaps Pervez. But quite an exchange of delights would be there at the table of M and Q leagues. PPP fear this and fears alot. A bit of rigging and PPP would be out again for another 5 years and out of the picture finally. Hope so.

With America being put a noose around its neck, thanks to Pakistan, its Afghan dilletante is costing it to be a bit pricy that Bush administration has reduced itself to ‘request’ the Musharraf administration to reconsider the emergency option again. Super Powers too have something to miss out on and allow others to be like Chavez and Castro.

The reciprocation of the bomb blasts today in Rawalpindi is a clear indication India is very much involved and around Islamabad and Rawalpindi. 3 blasts in India killing scores of civilians and then 2 attacks in answer to the previous one was a bit harsher as the Rawalpindi attack was on a bus carrying Defence officials. Now how risky was that can’t be revealed openly. Though its a tremendous loss, but has been fizzled out soon.

Politicians and media are being allowed to wake up but in a civilised manner. And complied did they. A brash child respects a deserved treatment and the General knows where the engine goes crank.

Punjab University – From the Clutches of Jamaat to Insaaf, Iranian or Islamic Revolution Reborn?

20 11 2007

As expected, brawl invites brawl; after Imran’s forced and tortured exit, students of the Punjab University have taken it seriously. Violent protests have been reported in the galleys of the University. This was natural; Jamaat e Islami has been maintaining an aura of unease for all these years. The very mindset of the students has been arrested under the so-called holy garb of the Jamaat e Islami which was never implementable on the implementers. Particular primitive mindset. The enforces roams free while the common unindulgent has to abide under the shadows of the stick and gun.

In Lahore, UET which was popularly then pronounced as University of Error and Terror in the pre-administration of Shahbaz Sharif. After which, just like Naseer Ullah Babar Vs. MQM in Karachi, it was Sharif Vs. Jamiat e Tuleba.

How could a mature party like Jamaat E Islami, resolve its intent to rule Pakistan when one of its faction was operating with impunity and without check and that which left grudge and mistrust in its folds. Such mismanagement cannot produce results save hatred and bigotry. The very uprising is the vent and catharsis of the people of Pakistan against the very religion Jamaat E Islami wants to propagate with a stick. Intolerable. Simple.

Though, the protests have been fresh from the shell, nothing can be said about it later. Perhaps, it could subside or could gain momentum. Either way, Jamiat has learnt a lesson and more to come. Moreover, the very strength of the Jamiat has been unfolded and lays bare and revealed in the galleys of the beautiful University. The Jamiat would have less now to growl about. More freedom. But Pakistanis and the icons should have a check.

Jamiat can be commended for keep immorality out of the campus. Nonetheless, this is imperative nowadays. Imperialism brought in its fruits of vice to the subcontinent and one of which was considering immorality and promiscuity (although restricted) as a standard of the West. While this is street life and Hollywood’s inflated yet untrue niche of the West but not evidenced in their corporate culture. Broad mindedness doesn’t depend on immorality to flourish. Its the difference of the mindset that needs culturing. And Pakistan has taken the other route.

For this, Jamiat has a feather in their hat to have contained the social negativity to creep in. At the moment, it seems, if seen through their periscope, unseen hands (lobbies) are at work to disband the influence of the Jamiat. Jamaat E Islami now should take the administration and the student’s federation in their confidence and devise a council which includes their part and some of the students to pacify their emotions, for the moment. Diplomacy has to play in here and quick, otherwise the picture is grim. Many hands might have exchanged notes and currencies to formulate the conspiracy to oust the Jamiat. This also suggests that the first and following people to assault Imran were not from the Jamiat. Although, Qazi Hussain should step in reconciliate and bring the very students who started it, if they were indeed students, to punitive measures and discourse with the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf.

The Jamiat shouldn’t be yielding to the foreign pressure completely but should roll back the fashion of terror they have maintained. Ethics should be reestablised within their ranks and this is not difficult. Jamiat is known to have maintained torture cells in the University previously and in the UET armed conflicts too have been reported but that was yesteryears. Nothing is lost. Negotiations should be done and fast. Both sides should give up their gruesome activities and attitudes over that.

If the foreign hands are allowed to rein, that would weaken the students and their purposes; but not from the facefront but instrinsically.

Imran has fared quite well here but he should be in control of the situation here. He could condemn the protests and postpone the same until he is released. Not only would this expedite his exit from the captivity, Imran would have proved another fact that he is a leader which most are not ready to accept. All the parties should see the silver lining or it goes unnoticed, again.

The Jamiat should step out of their norms of terrorising and fear and amalgamate with the inhabitants of the University. They should wake up to the norms of the street and to the beats of the wishes of the common public lest some areas might develop into No-Go areas again if the situation is not controlled now.

Apparently, for no fault of theirs, PTI and Jamat e Islami are on a collision course.
